MoBI Research Group

The Maternal and Child (MoBI) Research group is a multidisciplinary research group with one common agenda which is to improve maternal and child health. Our perspectives and angles of approach are diverse but we all focus on quality of care, maternal and child nutrition and child development in the light of a changing population with increasing overweight and obesity, new immigrants and increased need for coordination of healthcare services.

MoBI is anchored at Division of Medical Services and The Women’s clinic at Innlandet Hospital Trust. We also collaborate with several institutions within and outside of Norway such as the Harvard School of Public Health (USA), Tribhuvan University (Nepal), Society for Applied Studies (India), and others. Through these collaborations we are involved in several cohort studies world-wide.
